Oh it gets better... Have you seen yet the new signs they've painted on the inside of the doors? "Mind the Gap", "Careful, it's a big jump down!" and so on. There's soon to be no inch of the carriage and platform with no safety notice!
My favourites are the signs sayingPASSENGER EMERGENCY ALARMlocated at opposite doorandFIRE EXTINGUISHERlocated at end of carriageby which they meanPASSENGER EMERGENCY ALARM not near this signandFIRE EXTINGUISHER located elsewhere

by which they mean
PASSENGER EMERGENCY ALARM
not near this sign
and
FIRE EXTINGUISHER
located elsewhere
